About QRtub
You can't improve what you can't change, and a QR tag on an excavator is hard to change.
The latest process, always in the field.
QRtub is the addressing layer between physical things and the systems that hold their data. It issues permanent Links, manages them as a population through production and installation, and lets you change what any of them do without touching the Tag.
Why it exists
On a real rollout, everything changes.
Most QR tools bake a URL into a sticker and hope nothing moves. Then a safety assessment adds a requirement, a client asks for something extra mid-project, a vendor is replaced, a machine goes out on cross-hire to a company running different software.
QRtub treats the code as infrastructure. Links are reserved before anyone knows what they will point at, produced while the detail is still being finalized, connected to Items during installation, and changed from a desk for the rest of their working life.

Where QRtub sits
Every operation keeps two registers.
One is crowded and well served. The other is the one that touches metal, and it usually has no owner. QRtub is that owner.
The register of things
What you own, and its history
The maintenance system, the service schedule, the fixed asset register. Your team already runs these, and QRtub links to them.
The register of codes
Which Links exist, and what each does today
Which are reserved, which went out in which Batch, what went to which Supplier, which are installed and where. It has to survive fifteen years and three coordinators. QRtub keeps it.
What we believe
Four rules the product keeps.
01
The code is infrastructure.
A Tag riveted to a machine is not a printed decision. Its address is reserved, produced, installed and kept working for years, so it deserves a record of its own.
02
Connect, never replace.
Your inspection app, maintenance system and hire software already do their jobs. QRtub sits between them and the physical thing, and keeps working when one of them changes.
03
Everyone sees the same Page.
QRtub does not record who scans. The operator, the client and the public open the same Page and each picks what they came for.
04
Honest about scope.
QRtub is not asset management, and it produces nothing. We say what it does, and we build that part well.
Who it is for
Organizations producing QR tags at volume.
QRtub works in any industry. The nouns change; the connection holds. Early users run equipment in the field:
Construction
Heavy machinery and equipment fleets.
Equipment hire
Rental equipment with changing operators.
Marine
Vessels and marine equipment.
Lifesaving
Beach rescue equipment, from rescue tubes to defibrillators.
If your codes fit in your head, you probably don't need us: generating a single QR code is free everywhere. QRtub is for when there are hundreds, and they have to keep working for years.
Whatever the field teaches you, you can act on it.
Start with the address. Connect it when you are ready.
