Features

Everything between the Tag and what it opens.

QRtub reserves your Links, follows each production run to installation, and lets you change what any QR tag opens from your desk, for as long as the Tag lasts. Here is every part of it.

02 · Produce

One Batch carries the production record.

Export the list for your Supplier: an engraver, an anodizer, a sign shop or your own machine. QRtub produces nothing. It keeps the record.

  • The file that went out. The exact export your Supplier produced from, stored as sent.

  • The stage it reached. Draft, In Production, Ready, Installed. Set it as the run moves.

  • Every Tag on its own. Ready, Installed or Retired, per Tag, for the life of the account.

A Batch marked Installed can still hold Tags that are Ready. Each is tracked on its own.

03 · Connect

One code. One Page. Every Destination.

A Tag with three jobs needs one code, not three stickers. The Page carries every Destination, and you change any of them long after the Tags are installed.

A Page anyone can use

The inspection, the manual and the booking sit on the same mobile Page, filled with live Item data. Everyone who scans sees the same Page and picks what they came for.

  • Page Mode. The code opens the Page.
  • Direct Mode. The code goes straight to one Destination.
  • Switch any time. The Tag encodes the Link, not the Destination.

Edit once, every Item follows

A Collection shares one Page design. Change it and every Tag in the Collection opens the new version. One Item that needs something different can keep its own.

Destinations that know the Item

Put a field inside a Destination URL and QRtub fills it in when the code is scanned. One Destination serves the whole Collection.

Sections that show when they should

Show or hide any part of a Page by a rule you write against Item fields, the device, the time, or whether the viewer is a signed-in member of your team.

item.status == "On hire"time.hour < 7session.user

04 · Organize

The register of codes, kept in one place.

Which Links exist, which Item each one is on, which Batch it went out in. The part of a rollout that usually lives in a spreadsheet tab, given a home of its own.

Collections

Items that share one set of fields, one Page design and one rule for new Links. Add custom fields and rename them later without losing data.

A grid you already know

Edit Items in a spreadsheet-style grid: a row for each Item, a column for each field.

Import and export

Bring an existing equipment list in from CSV, and take your data out again whenever you need it.

QR code downloads

SVG by default, or 1024 px PNG. Select several and get one ZIP, each file named after its Link.

Your team, one place

Invite editors to work on the same Links, Collections and Batches. How many depends on your plan.

Reassign when things move

Links belong to the team, not to a Collection. Point one at a different Item without touching its Tag.

Clear about scope

What QRtub leaves to you, on purpose.

No record of who scans

QRtub does not record who scans. Everyone who scans a code sees the same Page and picks what they need.

You produce the Tags

You or your Supplier make them, in whatever material the job needs. QRtub keeps the Links, the Batch and the installation record.

Your systems stay

Inspection apps, maintenance systems, hire software: QRtub connects the Tag to them. It does not replace any of them.

Reserve your first Links this afternoon.

Your Supplier can start producing while you finish the Item list.
